Tsuktor Namgyalma

TSUKTOR NAMGYALMA - Transliteration of the Sanskrit

The Tsuktor Namgyalma Dharani was composed in Sanskrit.  Many of the words are not directly translatable into English, but are more like magical spells representing lofty philosophical, psychological and spiritual ideals.  At the bottom of the page is an attempt at the meaning in English.

Here is a transliteration from the Tibetan Script into Latin (English) Script.

English Translation:
Uṣhṇīṣavijaya Dhāraṇī – Brearer of the Crown of Victory

Homage to the blessed One, most excellent Lord of the three worlds.
Homage to the Enlightened One
Om! Purify, completely purify!
To the One who radiates boundless light,
And who’s nature is pure and vast as the sky,
Initiate us, Sugata, into the teachings of  immortal Tathagatas (Buddhas); the initiation of Mahamudra (the Great Symbol of Ultimate Truth).

Holder of an eternal life, purify, completely purify, pure like the sky.
You who are the crowned-head of Victory,
Completely liberated and shining with a thousand rays of light.
You are Lord of all the Buddhas, perfected in the six paramitas.
Mother of all the Enlightened Ones,
Fully established in the 10th Bhumi of spiritual power.
The heart essence of the Tathagatas,
Emanating the blessing of  Mahamudra, the Great Seal.
With your diamond-like vajra nature, purify us of all karmic defilements.
Bless us with the vows of all the Buddhas.

OM! Sage, Great Sage, Highest of all Sages!
All knowing, compassionate, pure nature,
Purifying the depths of mind and reality,
Victorious, completely victorious!
Remember, remember!
Radiate Buddha Nature, the purity of the Awakened Ones.
The Great Vajra, the Essence of indestructibility, the Essence of Victory!
Arisen from the Unborn, Born of Indestructibility, you are Unceasing.

May my body become vajra-like.
May all sentient beings be forever pure, through all our lives, forever pure.
May the blessings of the Buddhas comfort me!
OM! Awakened One, Realized One,
Awaken, fully awaken, liberate, total liberation,
Purify, totally pure, completely free!
You who are the of the nature of light, totally pure, abiding in the heart of all Buddhas!

OM! Symbol, Great Symbol (mahamudra)
Mahamudra Mantra, so be it!
